Variety Q&A: Tim Kring
Saturday, June 02, 2007 - reddit
Daily Variety dumps these short articles onto the 'net on the weekends, usually 50 at a time, but this one should hold some value for fans of NBC's drama Heroes. It features a little background and a Q&A with the shows creator and executive producer, Tim Kring. Q: What shows have influenced your career?
A: The idea of these big twists and turns that 'Heroes' has very much came from wanting to duplicate the experience that I had watching the Rod Serling shows 'Twilight Zone' and 'Night Gallery' -- those kinds of shows where there was always some very big twist at the end that made you rethink everything that you had just seen. It's mostly fluff, but there are some interesting tidbits about the man behind the show. Hit Variety for the digs. Topics: Television, Heroes, Tim Kring
