Jericho back for 8 episodes?

Michael Ausiello, a TV Guide editor, wrote this afternoon that canceled CBS drama Jericho may yet see air time later this fall.

Multiple sources are telling me that CBS is this close to sealing a deal to bring Jericho back for at least eight episodes, possibly at mid-season.

Ausiello believes word on this could come as soon as this evening. He won't name sources and even if true, this isn't renewal, however, it's still great news for fans of the show who have been working a hard campaign to make something happen.

I'll report updates as Ausiello does.
