'1408' interviews
Tuesday, June 12, 2007 - reddit
No, I don't have 1408 interviews or even 5 interviews, but IESB does have two interviews, eight clips, and a bunch of stills from 1408, a feature adaptation of a Stephen King short story about room 1408 of Hotel Dolphin, which is haunted. John Cusack plays a nonfiction author who has had a string of success writing about haunted places, but isn't a believer in the supernatural. If they are faithful to the story, it should be pretty good no matter what. It's hard to screw up a Stephen King story when you don't deviate from it. I read that Eli Roth was considered for the directors chair but ultimately rejected due to the gore factor he was selling - and this was before Hostel mind you - but they ultimately they went with Mikael Håfström. Supposedly Samuel L. Jackson is in this flick too, but I haven't been able to find any information about what part he plays. 1408 will be released in theaters on June 22nd. Topics: Film, 1408, Stephen King, John Cusack
