Pirates 3 Gets it's Game On

According to Sci Fi Wire, the recently released Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (or more likely the franchise in general) will be adapted into a game in the form of a MMORPG. The Wire has a bright yellow safety sticker that says they'd like you to know that this game is not to be confused with the console game -- also based on the franchise -- that was just released.
Participants will be able to play the game a third of the way through without subscribing, though they will see ads. For unlimited access, players pay a monthly fee of $9.95. To date, nearly 100,000 people have registered on the game's Web site, requesting information about the game as well as a chance to participate in its current beta status.

Supposedly this game has been under development for eight years now, and no date for the games release has been set.
