Dominic Monaghan is Pissed

Lost
According to Hollywood.com, former Lost actor Dominic Monaghan is upset that his character was killed off in the season 3 finale, though presumably he's more upset about losing his job that what happened to his character.

"I think lots of people are gonna be pretty pissed off. Especially as there are others on the show they are more keen on having disappear."

People are more upset about Lost's inability to pay off things they spend all season setting up. From what I've heard from fans, the finale was much closer to what they remember enjoying about Lost from the start, and that's the very first time I've heard such a compliment from them since the second season debut.

Lost has lost over half it's audience between then and now, and ABC has decided to cancel the series in two years in a bizarre attempt to placate diehard fans and the shows producers, even as the series continues to struggle in the ratings.

I think Monaghan should be thankful that his career is no longer stuck in the mud. Lost has been a sinking ship for over a year-and-a-half now probably won't make it the two more years it's been promised by the network.

It's very rare that a show gets cancelled two years out is it not? So what is most likely going to happen is that they begin next season and it filters away and just does not return after christmas. However, if they change it up a bit and deliver a little more with second showings on Sci-Fi, they may do much better in ratings. Or just sale the show out to Sci-Fi period and let them make something of it.
