First Presidential Debate Tonight

Eight Democrats will take to South Carolina State University to debate the issues of today and why we should vote for them in 2008. MSNBC will host while NBC News' Brian Williams will moderate.

Though the cable news channel is going to run debate-related material all day, they will officially kick off coverage with a special edition of Hardball, live from SC State. Following Chris Matthews will be an hour of miscellaneous pre-debate coverage at 6PM EDT, and finally the actual debate will begin at 7PM EDT and last for an hour and a half.

MSNBC will be running live post-debate analysis and commentary until midnight with all their key evening hosts including Tucker Carlson, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, and Joe Scarborough.
