Stupid Behavior Not Only an American Trait

Bob Rajcoomar
A UK site is reporting that in a flagrant bout of racism, a number of passengers on a plane in Britain committed their own little act of terrorism, refusing to allow the plane to fly unless two Asian men were kicked off of the flight. Their crime: accused of speaking Arabic.

This comes on heels of a report stating that the U.S. Transportation Security Agency has said it will begin racially profiling passengers at airports, a policy surely to be blocked in court given well established case precedent that racial profiling is a violation of the constitutions equal protection and due process clauses.

The TSA is resuming its old bad habits. In 2003, a Doctor named Bob Rajcoomar who was physically detained by an air marshal, and later arrested and held without charge, sued the agency with the assistance of the ACLU. The reason: the air marshal didn't like how Rajcoomar "looked". The TSA supposedly settled, agreeing to change its policies, yet is right back at it again. *Why does TSA hate the Constitution? *Why does TSA hate America?

The two Asian men, who committed no crime, and did *nothing* suspicious other than being victims of racism, had their passports taken and were later escorted off the plane. The police in fact told everybody to get off the plane, while they searched it for bombs.
"Some of the older children, who had seen the terror alert on television, were starting to mutter things like, 'Those two look like they're bombers.'

"Then a family stood up and walked off the aircraft. They were joined by others, about eight in all. We learned later that six or seven people had refused to get on the plane.

"It was an eerie scene, very quiet. The children were starting to ask what was going on. We tried to play it down."
Well that's fairly easy to answer. Kids, listen up. Gather around please, I have something to tell you. This is very important, so listen very carefully: your parents are racists. I know that is hard to believe, that your parents could be anything other than good and loving people, but it's true. Not only are your parents racists, they are stupid as well. Please, don't grow up to be like them.
Patrick Mercer, the Tory Homeland Security spokesman, said last night: "This is a victory for terrorists. These people on the flight have been terrorised into behaving irrationally.

"For those unfortunate two men to be victimised because of the colour of their skin is just nonsense."
For the first time in a long time, somebody finally gets it. 9/11 and the train/bus/club bombings never were about bombing. They weren't about killing people. They were about instilling fear. They were about making us suspicious of each other. They were about making us afraid to live our lives, because that's what terrorism is. Terror.

Terrorists don't hate freedom, and they don't hate America (well they do now; invading other countries for fun and profit tend to do that) they just want to scare the shit out of us because ultimately that is far more damaging to our lives than killing us ever would be. Few people in the US get that, but this guy does. Give that son of a bitch a cigar.

Post note: it was never proven or confirmed that the Asian men were ever actually speaking Arabic at all.

*I'm sick of Republicans accusing anybody who disagrees with them of hating America, so I'm giving it back to them until they grow up, or we throw them out of Congress for being less mature than my five and four-year-old nephews are.
