Paramount sues over 9/11 movie rip-off

Paramount Pictures is suing a filmmaker for copyright infringement for allegedly making a short based on the pilfered script for Oliver Stone's World Trade Center. WTC follows Nick Cage as one of two people who were trapped in the substructure of the WTC towers after they collapsed.
The studio contends in a federal lawsuit that Chris Moukarbel, 28, somehow obtained a copy of the screenplay for "World Trade Center" and used the script as the basis for a 12-minute film. [...] Included in the studio's complaint are nine pages from the "World Trade Center" screenplay that Paramount contends were used by Moukarbel for his unnamed work, which he posted online (but has since removed).
The Smoking Gun has the complaint.
