Roger Friedman over at FOX News is reporting that Chris Tucker is going to pull in $25 million for his role in Rush Hour 3, which appears to be in pre-production right now. With Jackie Chan getting $15 million, and director Brett Ratner another eight, the budget for Rush Hour 3 is almost at the $50 million mark just for those three people. Chris Tucker is a funny comedian, and a pretty decent actor in a comedic role, but no single person on this planet is worth $25 million; not actors, not anybody. I could make a really good film entirely on that mans paycheck alone, and I'm just a nub writer. Imagine what $25m could get you in the hands of someone with some real talent and enough common sense not to break the bank.
