I'm an idiot.

I just wrote a 347 word rant blasting two New York Times writers for saying something I thought to be incredibly stupid, that Barry Bonds could easily surpass Hank Aaron's home run record early in the coming 2006 regular season. The problem is -- and I noticed this while I was doing my final proofread -- they said Babe Ruth, not Hank Aaron. It really is a shame, I thought my piece was actually pretty good. It was right to the point, loaded with statistics backing me up, and I got to act snotty towards journalists. (I love them, that's why I berate them.)
The person who got the facts wrong was myself. I'm a nub. I didn't publish the post, so no misinformation was spread (shew!), but that doesn't change the fact that I jumped at the chance to lay the hurt on other writers just so I'd have something to write about. I'm writing this as an apology to the Times and Christine Hauser and Ben Shpigel. Your article was fine, everyone should go read it.
